You Are More Capable Than You Feel You Are

In this short video I’m talking about self-confidence and some of the ways in which you can strengthen your self confidence.

Low Self Confidence

Low self confidence is the very unpleasant feeling of not being able to trust your own abilities, qualities, and judgement. 

It is often linked to fear, the fear that comes with uncertainty.  Low self-confidence is associated with doubting your ability to perform well.  

You are more confident and capable than you feel you are!

In reality you have many more strengths, competencies that you are giving yourself credit for in that moment.  

 Self confidence has to be managed.  It isn’t a static innate trait.  It varies and needs to be managed.

The research shows us that focussing on our strengths promotes our confidence and wellbeing.

Self confidence has to be managed.

One way of reducing the likelihood of you doubting yourself or feeling low in confidence is to be clear about your strengths, values and accomplishments.

Having this evidence to hand means you can think more skilfully about yourself – which will improve your self confidence.
